You can listen the short story in classroom and afterwards, you can talk with children about their favorite food.
The Hungry Dragon
1. Now, a listening comprehension activity: children have to order the images of the story in the correct way. You can use scissors and glue
2. After that, you can ask children some questions to work vocabulary, for example:
- What's your favorite breakfast?
My favorite breakfast is ….
- What's your favorite lunch?
My favorite lunch is ….
-What's your favorite supper?
My favorite supper is ….
- What's your favorite drink?
My favorite drink is ….

The activities you shared with us are really interesting, and I really like the one about the dragon, because in which you can listen to a story and have the possibility of reading at the same time, doing a reading comprehension about the story with some questions you wrote before and then talk with your pupils about the story or examples in their lives.
Besides I think the website ( British Council) you chose for the activity it's one of the best ones for doing English as a Second Language.
